The Capital Cup 2025

Series Overview

The Capital Cup will feature 8 individual IFPA tournaments held throughout the year, all contributing to a series jackpot awarded to the Top 4 Players.

Players competing in any of these 8 tournaments will earn points based on their final position using a Linear Scoring System, where 1st place earns 100 points, 2nd earns 99 points, 3rd earns 98 points, and so on, decreasing by 1 point per position.

For example:

• 1st Place: 100 points
• 2nd Place: 99 points
• 3rd Place: 98 points
• 4th Place: 97 points
• … (continuing down in 1-point increments)

Players are not required to participate in all 8 tournaments to be eligible for the series jackpot. However, each player’s 2 lowest-scoring tournaments will be discarded, ensuring that only their 6 best finishes contribute to their overall ranking.

Tournament Prizes

Each tournament in the series is a standalone event with its own prize pool and trophies. The prize pool for individual tournaments will be distributed among the top 4 players as follows:

• 1st Place: 50%
• 2nd Place: 25%
• 3rd Place: 15%
• 4th Place: 10%

Series Prizes

A portion ($2) of each tournament’s prize pool will be set aside to contribute to the series finale jackpot. This creates an exciting cumulative prize pool for the conclusion of the series. The series jackpot will be distributed among the top 4 players based on their cumulative points across all tournaments, with the same payout percentages:

• 1st Place: 50%
• 2nd Place: 25%
• 3rd Place: 15%
• 4th Place: 10%

The final standings and prizes will be announced at the conclusion of the 8th tournament.

Example: If each tournament contributes $50 to the series jackpot, the total prize pool for the finale will be $400, with $200 awarded to the series winner.

Tournament Entry Cost

Each tournament will cost $15 to enter. If you are not a member of Capital Pinball you will also need to purchase a day pass for the day of the event.
