Knockout

Knockout was one of Greg Kmiec’s first designs for Bally; the designer would stay with the company into the 1980s. Scoring on this pinball machine is predominantly bonus-heavy; players will want to increase their end-of-ball bonus by lighting the rollover buttons near the spinners, then rolling past them with the ball. The center lane (called a “Chicane lane”, and only present in a few other pinball designs) helps light the rollover buttons, can award double bonus, and directs the ball into a saucer that scores increasing amounts of points every time the saucer is scored in a single ball.
