Sky Kings

A 1974 Bally EM pinball machine, designed by Jim Patla, one of the most prolific pinball designers of the decade; and the 1-player version of the Champ pinball machine which was released two months prior. Though the game features a spinner, this is one of a few EMs where the spinner isn’t as important to the game as it seems. Instead, the primary source of scoring comes from lighting the captive balls at the top lanes or the saucer (or by hitting the mushroom bumpers), then shooting them with as much strength as possible to increase the end-of-ball bonus. Extra balls are plentiful once the player reaches 8,000 in bonus, and the player is also given double bonus on the last ball of the game.
