Originally released by Stern in 2013, Metallica was given a fresh coat of paint, an LCD display, and new rules over 10 years after its original release by request of the band themselves. The main goal of the game is to shoot four different items – Sparky’s electric chair, the grave marker, the snake, and the coffin captive ball – to start multiball modes and advance towards the single-ball Crank It Up modes. New to the remaster are 72 Seasons and Hardwired hurry-up modes that can be stacked with the existing rules of the game, and a high-scoring Blackened mini-wizard mode qualified after playing all 4 multiballs.
