Keith Elwin’s third pinball machine is one of his most overlooked. Instead of using the MCU films as a basis, Avengers Infinity Quest is based on the original Infinity Gauntlet arc from the comics, following the Avengers’ attempts to reclaim the Infinity Gems from Thanos and his Black Order. The goals of the game are to assemble the six Avengers by hitting their respective shots and obtain all six of the Gems, but the latter is easier said than done as failed Gem Quests can only be restarted if the player has collected the Soul Gem. The game includes a rotating portal disc that raises to reveal a magnetic ball lock below it, and Captain Marvel’s U-turn ramp, one of the steepest ramps in all of pinball.
