Pirates of the Caribbean

Released shortly before the second film in the franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean marked Dennis Nordman’s short-lived return to pinball design at Stern. Players have the opportunity to defeat opposing pirate ships and fight the Kraken that lays beneath it, but this is easier said than done as the battle has minimal ball save. Multiball stacking is encouraged: shooting the left ramp to temporarily lock balls for Tortuga multiball, and collecting the key to open the Dead Man’s Chest and start Heart multiball will help make the Kraken battle easier to complete and result in much higher scoring. Completing the Compass features listed above the flippers will challenge players to overcome the Four Winds and take on the Gauntlet of Pirates.
