Looking for a fun and unique venue for your next event? Capital Pinball Club is now offering the opportunity to rent our space for private gatherings. Whether it’s a corporate event, birthday party, or just a fun night with friends, our pinball machines provide endless entertainment.
Rental Policy:
- Member Supervision: To ensure the safety of our machines and handle any potential technical issues, a Capital Pinball Club member must be present during the event. Scheduling will depend on the availability of members to host.
- Event Cost: The cost for hosting an event is $15 per attendee. This fee covers access to our space and unlimited use of the machines during your event.
- Member Hosting Fee: In addition to the per-person fee, there will be a $50 hosting fee to compensate the member for their time. This fee can be waived at the member’s discretion.
- Private Event Option: If you wish to host a private event, where no other members or guests will be allowed to attend, there is an additional fee of $100. We ask that private events be scheduled well in advance to allow us enough time to notify all club members.
What Our Hosting Member Can Provide:
Our hosting member will always be on-site to supervise and assist with any technical issues that may arise. However, they can also offer more than just supervision:
- Pinball Expertise: The hosting member can teach your group how to play in competitive formats and organize friendly competitions. Whether it’s Pingolf, Group Match Play, or other common formats, this is a great way to add structure and excitement to your event while learning more about the world of competitive pinball.
- Engagement & Fun: If your group is looking for a deeper dive into pinball, our member can provide insights into strategies and scoring, helping everyone feel more connected to the game and each other.
Children at Events:
While pinball is exciting for players of all ages, we want to ensure that all attendees have a positive experience. Our venue is designed with a mature atmosphere in mind, and we expect a certain level of respect for the space and the machines.
- Maturity Level: This may not be the best venue for children’s birthday parties, as younger attendees may struggle to fully engage with the games, often leaving them unfinished, pressing buttons, or running around.
- Pinball for All Ages: That said, we are committed to promoting pinball as a positive activity for people of all ages. If you plan to invite children to your event, we may ask a few questions to determine the best approach and set clear expectations. We want everyone to enjoy the games, but also ensure they are used properly.
